Sally Rumsey B.Mus(Hons) MA
Sally is working with academic, central services and other staff to ensure that ORA architecture and functionality is developed to meet the needs of the research community across this large and complex research-intensive University. This involves wide scale advocacy across academic and other departments. As manager of the repository, she is involved in a number of JISC-funded projects: DataShare, BID (Bridging the Interoperability Divide), OARS (Open Access Repository System), and PRESERV2. At the London School of Economics she was the eServices Librarian and involved with many aspects of electronic resource provision including the implementation of an electronic resource management system and setting up the institutional repository. She has previously obtained competitive funding to set up and manage two projects to deliver online library skills training. She is a member of the JISC eBooks Working Group. Her book, “How to find information: a guide for researchers” (2nd ed) is published by the Open University Press.
